A week of care for 1600+ bulls begins with your support

Imagine a living being abandoned, injured and ignored on the sides of the road with no food to eat. The image itself feels cruel and now imagine if that being cannot even talk. That’s the way in which we treat bulls who are called the farmer’s best friend.

But the good part is that not all of them are mistreated and left behind. Sadbhavan Vruddhashram has a dedicated Badad Ashram for these innocent beings and currently over 1600+ bulls are being cared for in this ashram. They feed the rescued bulls in India and take care of them like one would of a family member.

The Harsh Reality

Bulls are used in farming their whole life and yet once old they are abandoned. They work in the farm, toiling on the fields and working hard despite any weather conditions; yet once they are old, they are abandoned. They are then not offered any shelter, food or even basic medical treatment.

Their starvation, injuries and slow suffering isn’t paid any heed to as they grow useless on the fields. This is where Badad Ashram brings in the hope. The Badad Ashram is an initiative of the Sadbhavana Vruddhashram founded by Vijay Dobariya and it serves the purpose of aiding these souls. You can support 1600 rescued bulls by donating for this noble cause and indirectly serving these voice-less beings.

From 11 to 1600+

The Badad Ashram started with 11 bulls who were brought in and cared for. They were rescued, tended after and given medical care and supported. Those scared bulls who were neglected and abused were now given a safe space and it is obvious that at the beginning they too were unsure of the care which was provided to them. But gradually as our caretakers and volunteers kept being there for them, they too realised that the badad ashram was genuinely a shelter which provided safety.

This journey continued and now there are over 1600 bulls which are being taken care of at the badad ashram. So what started as a small act of love, humanity and dignity has now become a lifeline to hundreds of these bulls.

What a “Week of Care” means

When you opt to donate for a bull shelter in India and support the donation of 1600 rescued bulls, you partake in an act of humanity towards those beings who don’t speak like we do but just feel as much as we do. If you’re wondering what a “week of Care” means and how to donate for a bull shelter in India, then you’re that ray of sunshine for these beings.

  1.  Daily feeding needs

Bulls require fodder consisting of a mix of high protein legumes, fibrous grasses and nutrient-rich stovers. These nutritional intake is idle for meeting their daily requirements and even cost-effective as the feed rescued bulls in India.

  1. Medical Care

Many bulls that come in need immediate medical care as they are badly injured due to the mistreatment that they’ve suffered. They come in bleeding heavily maybe due to the injuries that they’ve suffered or they’re sustaining age old injuries that nobody had cared to look after. At the badad ashram they get continuous medical treatment till they are healthy.

  1. Shelter & Protection

At badad ashram, these 1600 rescued bulls receive a shelter where they are protected from the weather conditions, mistreatment from people and harsh conditions on the roads. They are given a safe space to live and prosper.

Hence, a single week is not just about feeding rescued bulls in India, it is about giving them a space where they live with dignity and care.

Why should you support the donation of 1600 rescued bulls

Imagine your own pet whom you love dearly being on the roads, thrown stones on and mistreated. Now that sounds harsh and cruel, right?

Similarly, an old and abandoned bull, who is brought in weak and would take time to slowly recover; then to support the donation of 1600 rescued bulls is a noble task taken to care for these beings. Your support in donating for 1600 rescued bulls would not just be an act of compassion, but would also provide resources and cater to meeting their daily expenses. These lives depend on consistent care that your donation for a bull shelter in India will provide.

How to donate for bull shelter in India

Caring for more than 1600 bulls is something that doesn’t happen overnight. It takes effort every single day to ensure that the fodder keeps them nourished, medicines help them recover, and constant attention is provided to make sure they are safe and comfortable. And while the ashram continues to do everything it can; it cannot do it alone.
