How Sadbhavna Vrudhashram Builds Transparency and Trust With Our Donors

Giving is easy. Trusting where your gift goes is the hard part. When deciding on a worthy cause, donors often wonder whether the organization is trustworthy or not.

At the Sadbhavna Vrudhashram, we encourage that question. The money donated by our people is the reason why we are able to help more and more lonely old people. Other than this, we provide many other services too. So each amount donated by our donors is a promise, that it is used for the noble cause. To fulfill this promise we at Sadbhavna NGO ensure donation transparency as possible.

Know More About Sadbhavna Vrudhashram

Sadbhavna Vrudhashram was established on 15th August, 2015. This organization is run by ‘Manav Seva Charitable Trust’ that is located in Rajkot, Gujarat, India.

Sadbhavna runs free old age homes and other social services. At Sadbhavna Vrudhashram, the elderly who have been abandoned or are sick can count on the necessary care, food, and accommodation. We have given shelter to more than 800 old people in a very short span.

However, our work does not stop there. We also provide services for our bull shelter, dog shelter, free animal care hospital services, free medical treatments to the needy and run our planting trees initiative. To know more about our areas of service, please check our know us page.

Trust starts with knowing who is behind the work. We value our donors and understand that every person has the right to know about their donations. Know more about Sadbhavna’s transparent donation practices.

How Sadbhavna Vrudhashram Builds Donation Transparency and Trust With Our Donors

Before you give, you want to know one thing: “Will my donation reach the people who need it?”

It is a fair question. At Sadbhavna NGO, we welcome it. Our donors are the reason an elder who was left alone now has a bed, a hot meal and someone to talk to. So we treat every rupee as a promise, and we try to keep that promise in the open.

Here is how we ensure donation transparency.

Our Certificates Are Open for Anyone to See

“Is this NGO genuine and certified?” is one of the most commonly asked questions by the donors. This is why our documents prove our transparent donations.

Our Certificates page shows the documents for certified 80G and 12AB registration. These are the official papers an NGO needs so that donors can claim tax benefits in India. Sadbhavna Vrudhashram is certified for the 80G tax exemption.

Before you donate, feel free to have a look at our documents as proof of donation transparency.

Our Bank Details Are Public

Some NGOs make it hard to know where your money is going. We keep donation transparency very simple.

As a trusted NGO, our donation page shows the official bank account name, account number, IFSC code and other bank details. The bank account of Sadbhavna is named as ‘Manav Seva Charitable Trust’. We also share a UPI QR code. You can see where your donation goes when you donate for a noble cause.

You Can See What the Money Is For

Every donor has a cause for donating. Some want to feed the elderly. For some people, it’s about animal welfare or planting a tree. As a result, we give you the permission to choose what you would like to donate for. WWe have many donation options for you available on our donations page.

For each cause, we show donation transparency. For example, a donation to the old age home provides food, accommodation, medical treatment, physiotherapy, and cultural activities for the seniors. While donation to the animal hospital helps in financing surgical operations, vaccinations, medications, and veterinary services given to needy animals.

Our Big Projects Come With Clear Numbers

Right now, we are building a new home for elders on the Rajkot-Jamnagar highway. The new campus spreads across 30 acres and is planned to have 1,400 rooms, with space to care for 5,000 elders, all free of cost. The total cost is ₹300 crore. As a part of donation transparency the page also lists a donation guide for the upcoming project, so you know what each gift helps to build.

For example, a donor gives ₹11 lakh for building one room, so they receive a name plaque with a photo. The project is being built solely with the support of our donors.

Companies Get Reports

We receive support from numerous companies due CSR initiatives. Our CSR page shows our CSR initiatives undertaken and the NGO reporting. Another way we maintain transparency when it comes to donations is through our quarterly reports. These reports show pictures, stories, and data to show our donors how their funds are used.

Donations are transferred to our Mota Rampar campus without third-parties involved. This initiative also helps to fulfill CSR obligations under the Companies Act 2013.

We Keep Engaging With Our Donors

Trust grows when people stay in touch. We share updates through our blog and on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. We also ask our donors to come and contribute their time for the noble cause as donation transparency.

If you have a question, you can call us, write to us at info@sadbhavnadham.org, or visit our campus in Mota Rampar, Gujarat. We want donors to ask questions. It makes us better.
