Socially conscious and responsible individuals are coming forward to contribute to the transformation of their villages through tree plantation.
India is home to ancient trees like Banyan, Peepal, Neem, and Tamarind, known to live for over 200 years. These majestic trees offer shade, shelter, and oxygen—benefiting generations of people and animals alike.
Why It Matters:
Our Vision:
If every village plants and cares for 2,000 trees, we can build a green, thriving, and sustainable environment that will stand as a historic milestone for the next 200+ years.
Join us in this noble mission. Let’s plant trees today and leave behind a living legacy for tomorrow.
In 11 years, Sadbhavna has successfully planted over 30 lakh trees with a strong focus on ensuring 100% survival. This achievement has been made possible with a dedicated team of 1,100 staff, 450 tankers, and expert guidance. Each tree costs ₹3,000 to maintain over 3–4 years, covering all aspects of care, protection, and growth. This initiative is entirely funded by donations and CSR contributions, with the added benefit of Income Tax exemption. The trees are carefully protected with tree guards, and every stage of their growth is carefully monitored to ensure long-term success.
In areas where large blocks of land are available, Sadbhavna undertakes block plantation initiatives. These areas are fenced, and the planting is done using tall seedlings in 1m x 1m x 1m pits, equipped with necessary inputs and drip irrigation systems. Notable projects include the 1111 Billy Van and the 7575 Pipala Van. Additionally, Sadbhavna is involved in raising plantations for the Rajkot Municipal Corporation, contributing significantly to the greening of urban spaces.
Sadbhavna has also developed over 225 dense plantations using the Miyawaki method, a fast-growing, highly biodiverse technique. These forests contain over 100 native plant species to maximize biodiversity and foster sustainable growth. Most of these plantations are located in and around Rajkot, on land provided by the Rajkot Municipal Corporation, railway land, university campuses, and other government premises. Additionally, a significant number of plantations have been established in private farmhouses, spreading the environmental impact far and wide.
The success of the Green Movement depends on active participation from individuals dedicated to environmental change. By joining efforts to plant trees, maintain greenery, and raise awareness, everyone can contribute to a sustainable future. Together, we can create a positive impact and build a greener, healthier world for future generations.
