About Sadbhavna
It is said that good deeds don’t wait for perfect timing. In the same way, Sadbhavna started this noble deed of taking care of bed-ridden old aged citizens 8 years ago. This noble institution was established on 15th august 2015, on the auspicious day of Indian independence day. It’s founder mr. Vijaybhai dobaria started this institution with only 7 senior citizens. Now the ashram is taking care and providing shelter to over 500 lonely & old citizens.
What makes Sadbhavna Vrudhashram different? We do not ask about the caste, age or condition of the old citizens before providing them with necessary help. We take them to our institute with respect. Most of the old citizens here are suffering from one or other disease and some of them are completely bed-ridden.
We at Sadbhavna also plant trees. It is our dream to see a greener Gujarat. Mr. Vijay is also known as “the green man”, for planting over 20 lakhs trees in over 10 districts.
The Sadbhavna team not only just plants trees, but we also look after the already planted trees by nurturing them with best manure and regular watering.
Apart from this, Sadbhavna team also takes care of bulls. In earlier times, bulls were called as “framer's friend” as they were very helpful in farming; they were also useful as a means of transport. But now with changing times, the value of bulls has stooped a little low. Hence Sadbhavna team also looks after bulls who are found abandoned by their owner on the roads, highways etc.
The team takes care about their fodder, veterinary services, water, proper staying etc. We take them to the shelter without any cost and if someone needs them, we give them free of cost, without charging for anything.

Plantation
Sadbhavna also pays attention on activities like Tree Plantation. Since the beginning, we have planted over 20 lakh trees in over 10 Districts. We have covered the highway of Rajkot to Morbi (60KMS) and the highway of Rajkot to Bhavnagar (170KMS) with trees and have made them greener than before. In Rajkot city itself, Sadbhavna team has planted trees for over 70,000 houses. The tree plantation is on going in the cities like Jamnagar & Junagadh. Not just tree plantation, we also look after planted trees by watering and nurturing them on daily basis. The planted trees are protected with iron tree cages and are nurtured with good quality manure. Our team also replaces damaged plants with healthier ones.
